Mika was born and raised in Miyazaki, Japan. In 2018, Mika started a small business, Tazue Inc., as a passion project in New York City. With Tazue her dream has been to support traditional, small businesses in Japan reach new markets. During her time in NYC, Mika met many people who struggle with mental health. Mika struggled with her own mental health at times, despite never having had these struggles while in her hometown in Miyazaki. Mika accepted and overcame her struggle with tea and meditation. Now, she wants to help others take their mental health journey in a new direction with tea and meditation.
